In honor of Popcorn Lover’s Day, try out some of these creative (not to mention easy) popcorn recipes!
*All recipes use a standard package (about 8-9 cups) of popcorn.
- 1/2 lemon juice squeezed
- 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 2 tsp sesame seeds (more for garnish)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- salt to taste
In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, ginger, and sesame seeds. Stir well. Pour over the popcorn and toss until well-coated. Season with salt and extra sesame seeds.
- 6-7 oz white chocolate
- sprinkles of choice
Prepare a large baking sheet to place the popcorn.
Melt the white chocolate in a small saucepan or in the microwave. Carefully pour melted chocolate over the popcorn. Finish off by topping with sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 2 tbsp truffle oil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and add chives. Remove from heat and add truffle oil. Season with salt and pepper, then pour over popcorn. Sprinkle in the Parmesan and toss until popcorn is well-coated.
